Cassander Eeftinck Schattenkerk (1974) lives and works in Amsterdam. A graduate from the Rietveld Academy, he uses photography to create an imaginary travelogue of exploration and natural phenomena. His work was selected for the Hyeres Photofestival in 2008 and he had exhibitions in France, The Netherlands, Italy and Hong Kong.
